I am looking forward to buying this DVD series because it shows me how to prepare the raw foods. I have been looking for a way to prepare fresh natural foods and the cookbooks are hard to understand because I have never prepared foods in this way before.
Thank you for making DVD's that can help me visualize what the cookbooks are saying.

I have been reading about the fundamental importance of an alkaline diet as well as food combining. My question is do these dvd's take those factors into consideration or would the receipes need adjusting ? I will still purchase them but would love your
oppinion. Thank you.

I have not bought the DVD yet but am planning to and love the idea of being able to actually SEE what to do - I love cookbooks but so often the authors words mean one thing to them and are understood another way by the readers making it hard to do the
dish properly.

Aloha Everyone, This is Chef Teton. It has come to my attention that people don't know that the recipes used in the DVD series are on the DVD, and are in the e-book that comes with the DVD series. The menu on each DVD allows you to pull up the recipes
and print them. You can also print the e-book. All that being said, the reason I made a DVD with the e-book is that it is very difficult to learn how to make raw foods by a book (in my experience anyway). Learning by watching is much easier in the beginning.
Once you get the basics down for soaking, sprouting and blending then any raw food cook book will be a breeze. Raw food is like gardening in a way. The food goes through stages and it is vital to "see" those stages in action, plus get the other wisdom that
goes along with it. You all have inspired me to create an awesome cookbook though. It will be done soon. Aloha, Chef Teton

Haven't purchased the DVDs but my first thought while reading the information regarding purchasing the DVDs was "Why don't they offer this information as a cookbook." Watching and trying to write down the recipes is very time consuming. More important;

as a book I can look for recipes when I'm planning my meals for the week - without having to scan the DVDs. Write my grocery list and reference the cookbook when I'm preparing my meals. I'll definitely purchase this in book format, preferably not as an ebook

I agree as well. I even checked Susan 'Teton' Campbell's website, and she only offers one ebook. No real cookbooks. Panic and dismay! That said, really enjoyed the dvd. I have a variety of dietary problems, and this will help to cater to those needs.

I agree the videos are nice but not as convenient as a cookbook.

I loved the movie. That said, offering the cooking class up as a DVD set is a little ridiculous. I need a book! Why? because I mark in it, alter the proportions of ingredients and such to match the fresh foods available locally and to suit my tastes. Please
consider offering this up as a cookbook instead. If you do not have one, I would be happy to help out.

I love to cook and to introduce newer ideas in meal and snacks is my hobby. I like to attend cooking classes to learn the specialized items. I came across this site on my web search and fell in love with the description. I am eager to see the DVDs since my family members prefer variety of food in break fast, lunch and dinner. They even need variety in desserts too. It will be of great help for me and I hope my healthy family will appreciate my cooking more. I have even posted some of my self experimented recipes on my blog.
